Hazel Oyeze Onou (born 6 July 1992) popularly known as the White Money or stylish as Whitemoney, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and reality TV star. He is the winner of Big Brother Naija season 6.
Early life and career
Whitemoney is of Igbo descent from Enugu State, Nigeria, but he grew up in Kaduna State. Growing up, Whitemoney didn’t go further than NECO level in his academic pursit.
His real name is Hazel Oyeye Onou, but he is popularly called White Money. Born on the 6th of July1992, white money BBNaija was born and bred in Enugu State which is his home time. He spent many years in Enugu before he moved to Lagos to seek greener pastures. White Money BBNaija didn’t have a rosy background or upbringing. He had to sell food with his mother to make ends meet while he was young.
Career
Growing up in Kaduna State, Whitemoney left to Lagos in search for occupations. He ventured into different businesses such as commercial photography, barbering, repairing generators, and fixing telecommunication towers among others. He also invested in importing and selling shoes.
Musical career
Whitemoney has produced a few songs including “Rosemary” (2018), “Your Life” (2018), and “My Heart” (2021). On 3 December 2021 he released a single ‘Selense’ which was produced by Masterkraft, the song was released alongside its video.
Big Brother Naija
Whitemoney entered the 6th season of Big Brother Naija as the fifth contestant on 24 July 2021.
During the season finale of the show on 3 October 2021, he was declared the winner scoring 47% of the final votes ahead of Liquorose with 22.99% of the total votes cast and was entitled to the ₦90 million grand prize.
On july 2023, he was announced as one of the housemates for Eight season of Big Brother Naija All Stars.
Personal life
Business-savvy White Money Whitemoney describes himself as an open-minded “jolly good fellow” who likes to have fun. His hobbies include driving, hustling, watching movies, and making music. He has a great fashion sense, and as he said, his “swag speaks for itself”. He has a jewellery line and makes lip balm from scratch. From his looks, you can easily judge he is part of the beard gang White Money is a sincere young man, and he is very down-to-earth and strategic.
White money can speak Yoruba, Igbo, and English fluently. In his hustling gigs in Lagos, White Money is popular in Lagos markets like Yaba and Ojuelegba.

Hazel Oyeze Onoduenyi, popularly known as White Money, was born in Enugu State, Nigeria, and raised by his mother, Florence Nwachukwu. White Money’s father abandoned his family when the singer was young. His mother made ends meet by running a restaurant business.

Whitemoney has two siblings which is his two brothers.
He shared his childhood with two brothers. One of his brothers is the CEO of Makky Designer, a Fashion enthusiast, and a Creator.
