Tiger 3 is a 2023 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Maneesh Sharma. Produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films, the film stars Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Emraan Hashmi. It is a sequel to Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), and is the fifth installment in the YRF Spy Universe. The film follows the events of War (2019) and Pathaan (2023).
The film was announced in March 2022. Principal photography commenced in March 2021 in Delhi and concluded in May 2023. The film’s music is composed by Pritam. The film was made at an estimated budget of ₹300 crore, making it the most expensive project of Yash Raj Films till date.
Tiger 3 was initially scheduled to be released on 21 April 2023, but was postponed to 10 November 2023, coinciding with Diwali.

Production
Development
The film was announced by Yash Raj Films, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif on 4 March 2022 via their social media handles, revealing a release date of 21 April 2023.
Casting
Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif were confirmed to be reprising their roles , while Emraan Hashmi was signed on in February 2021. Ranvir Shorey was confirmed to be reprising his role as Gopi Arya from Ek Tha Tiger. Vishal Jethwa joined the cast in October, while Revathi and Riddhi Dogra were cast in November. Shah Rukh Khan announced that he would be reprising his role as Pathaan in a cameo appearance.
Filming
Principal photography began in March 2021, in Delhi and Mumbai. Filming additionally took place in Turkey. A car chase sequence was shot in Saint Petersburg in August. Additional scenes were filmed in Austria in September. Filming resumed in India by February 2022 in New Delhi, while further action sequences took place in Mumbai in April 2023. Khan’s cameo was filmed within a ten day schedule on Madh Island, where a large set was built for an action sequence. Principal photography concluded in May 2023.
Release
Tiger 3 was initially scheduled for a worldwide release on 21 April 2023, coinciding with Eid but was postponed to 10 November 2023, coinciding with Diwali.
