Teeyah (born 23 March 1983) also called Teey is an Ivorian singer, dancer, and actress. Born in Boundiali, in the Savannah region, she met the music producer Kaysha. with whom she collaborates on the title On dit quoi a single that makes her popular.
In 2004, Teeyah released her first studio album, Metisse, from which the three hits are taken: Trop de Souffrance, Couper Decaler and Je T’aime, Je T’aime, Je T’aime. Teeyah is a singer who is characterized by her musical pluriculturalism: she combines different musical variations such as dancing melodies with zouk tones with a little African touch1.
Teeyah is proficient in lyrical singing, gospel, pop and classical music. She is also gifted for her talents as a pianist and flautist. She practiced the piano and the transverse flute for ten years.
