Junior Pope is also a brand influencer and content creator with over one million followers on Instagram and counting. He is known for his role as Professor Johnbull’s son in the popular NTA sitcom of the same name.

Early Life and Education
Junior Pope was born and raised in Bamenda, Cameroon by Mr and Mrs Luke Odonwodo, but he is originally from Nsukka in Enugu State.
Junior Pope had both his nursery and primary education in Cameroon. He later relocated to Nigeria and attended the Federal Government College Okigwe in Imo State for his secondary education. Junior Pope had his tertiary education at the University of Nigeria, in Enugu State. He eventually graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
Career
Pope began acting around 2006 but would often feature in minor roles, portraying the palace bodyguard, attendant or servant in most of his movies.
Junior Pope later landed his first major role in the Nollywood blockbuster movie “Secret Adventures” directed by the notable movie director, “Tchidi Chikere”.
Junior Pope has been praised for his excellent portrayal of rugged or “hard man” roles in movies, such as a criminal, a hitman or the militant prince of a kingdom. Junior Pope has also comfortably played soft roles such as a village lover boy in some movies.
Junior Pope has featured in over 150 Nigerian movies. He has featured in movies alongside other great actors including the likes of Jim Iyke, Emma Ehumadu, Sylvester Madu, Zubby Michael, Alaso Wariboko, Gentle Jack, Hanks Anuku, Jerry Amilo and Ernest Asuzu.

Junior Pope is married to his longtime girlfriend, Jennifer Awele Okpuno, an event decorator and a brand influencer. Sometime around 2010, Junior Pope met his wife on Facebook and was attracted to her despite no physical introduction.
The couple got engaged on September 22, 2013, after Junior Pope proposed in a hotel located in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State. Junior Pope and his wife officially tied the knot on July 26, 2014. Their wedding was held at St. John Bosco’s Catholic Church in Asaba, Delta. The couple is currently blessed with three children – two boys and a girl.
