What is the cause of death of Prophet TB Joshua? keep on reading as we reviewed what actually killed TB Joshua.
From his Wikipedia page: Temitope Balogun Joshua (born 12 June 1963 – died 5 June 2021) was a Nigerian charismatic pastor, televangelist, and philanthropist. He was the leader and founder of The Synagogue, Church of All Nations, a Christian megachurch that runs the Emmanuel TV television station from Lagos.
According to Joshua’s official biography, unusual circumstances surrounded his birth. He said that he spent 15 months in his mother’s womb and narrowly avoided death after a quarry explosion near his house sent rocks through its roof just seven days after his birth. It is also alleged that Joshua’s birth was ‘prophesied’ 100 years prior.
Joshua, then known as Balogun Francis, attended St. Stephen’s Anglican Primary School in Arigidi Akoko, Nigeria, between 1971 and 1977, but failed to complete one year of secondary school education. In school, he was known as “small pastor” because of his love for the Bible. He worked in various casual jobs after his schooling had ended, including carrying chicken waste at a poultry farm. He organised Bible studies for local children and attended evening school during this period. Joshua attempted to join the Nigerian military but was thwarted due to a train breakdown that left him stranded en route to the military academy. He died on 5 June in his home in Lagos shortly after his Saturday night teaching.
Joshua was married to Evelyn Joshua and had three children. He died on 5 June 2021 after one of his evening services in Lagos, Nigeria. He was aged 57.

How My Husband Died — Evelyn, TB Joshua’s Wife
Evelyn, wife of the Founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua, popularly known as T.B. Joshua, has given details of how her husband died.
Evelyn spoke with select journalists on Sunday.
She said her husband spent about three hours in prayers before the last service on the mountain and was looking very healthy, adding that he never showed any sign of illness or worry and that his main concern was about the prayer line they offered to Indians against the COVID-19 pandemic.
She added: “Afterward, he came up to shower and I left him to have some time to prepare for service as worship had started.
“Few minutes later, he stepped out for ministration.
“While ministering, he spoke about a time to come and time to leave. His statements were spiritual and suddenly he left the stage and went to his inner chambers. I waited a few minutes and thereafter decided to check on him. I met him sitting on the chair like someone reflecting but unconscious.”
“I quickly beckoned on his disciples who came and tried to revive him to no avail.
“Of a truth, he went home to be with the Lord and left us with a message: ‘Watch and pray.’
Losing a loved one is never easy; whether sudden or foreseen. It is always heart-breaking. Grief can wreak havoc on our overall well-being,” she wrote. “That’s why it’s important to stay rooted to the Almighty. Only He can lessen our heartache and comfort us in these times. Seek refuge in him.

Facebook also removed at least one post showing a woman being slapped while TB Joshua said he was casting out a “demonic spirit”.

“As things stand, you may have realised it will not be easy for me to celebrate my birthday under the present circumstances. Some of the people who want to come are troubled by the situation all over the world. We see their fear and their worry. I feel their pain; I feel their worry.
“Therefore, let us dedicate this day to prayer and fasting. Don’t forget the needy. By the grace of God, more birthdays are ahead. God bless you! Emmanuel. Jesus is Lord! Happy Birthday!”
