Samuel Chimerenka Chukwueze (born 22 May 1999) is a Nigerian professional footballer who plays as a right winger for Serie A club AC Milan and the Nigeria national team.

Parents

Samuel Chukwueze’s parents are Mr. and Mrs Chukwueze, they are of Igbo origin from Umuahia in Abia State.

Chukwueze was born in Amaokwe Ugba Ibeku, Abia State. He is of Igbo descent and was brought up in a Christian family with a younger brother and a younger sister.

Chukwueze in this interview with TheCable said: “When I was growing up playing football, my parents used to seize my boots and even burn them. So, as to prevent me from going to play football.”


“Inspite of this, I never let it stop me from going for training. They saw me as being stubborn. They always try to stop me from going for training.

“My parents eventually gave their consent to me playing football in 2013 when we went to Portugal.

“They realised that I love playing football and that I will prefer it to something else. So, they gave their blessings and I became more focused on my football career.”
