Radhe Shyam is a 2022 Indian period sci-fi romantic drama film written and directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, starring Prabhas and Pooja Hegde. The film is shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi languages. The film is produced by UV Creations, Gopi Krishna Movies and T-Series. Set in Europe of the 1970s, the film’s music is scored by Justin Prabhakaran with cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa and editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao.

Principal photography of the film commenced on 6 October 2018 with filming taking place in Hyderabad, Italy and Georgia. Originally planned for a release on 30 July 2021, it was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The film is now scheduled to release on 14 January 2022, coinciding with the festival of Sankranthi.

On 14 February 2021, coinciding with Valentine’s Day, the makers unveiled the first glimpse of the film, revealing its title as Radhe Shyam. The film’s first look poster was released on 10 July 2020. It shows Pooja Hegde and Prabhas together seemingly doing a dance routine. Prabhas is wearing a white suit and Pooja Hegde is seen in a red dress. Prabhas and Pooja Hegde feature in a loved-up moment against a dramatic backdrop of an orange sky and scarlet waters.

The makers unveiled Pooja Hegde’s first look poster featuring Pooja Hegde on her birthday, 13 October 2020, revealing her character name as “Prerana” in the film.

The film was originally scheduled to release on 30 July 2021, however, it was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in India. Later in July 2021, it was announced that the film will be released on 14 January 2022, coinciding with the festival of Sankranti, in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Japanese and Chinese languages.
