Jeremiah Richard Bassey (born 10 April 2002) popularly known as Nhasty Jee is a Nigerian comedian, content creator, and prankster.

He came to the limelight in Nigeria’s content creation space in 2022 after his videos went viral on Instagram.

Early life and career

Nhasty Jee was born Jeremiah Richard Bassey on the 10th of April 2002. He was birthed into the family of Mr. and Mrs. Bassey. He was born in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. Although he spent his formative years residing in the South-South, he is originally from Akwa Ibom State. His father is an indigene of the oil-rich Akwa-Ibom State.

Nhasty Jee was raised in a Christian household, where his parents ensured that they taught him good moral values. As a young boy, he regularly attended church with his family. He is from a close-knit family of five. He has two siblings, a brother named Kingsley Bassey and a sister named Funmilayo Bassey.

Nhasty Jee comes from a humble background and was raised in a middle-class neighborhood in Port Harcourt. He speaks English and Pidgin fluently. He got the nickname Nhasty Jee during his penultimate year in high school.
