Keke Palmer (born August 26, 1993) is a TV personality and singer. The multi-talented actress Keke Palmer first gained recognition at the age of 13 as a child actor playing the lead role in the highly regarded 2006 movie Akeelah and the Bee.

She is renowned for the diverse range of roles, from comedic to dramatic that she chose to take on in various shows. Palmer immediately expanded on her success by acquiring a recording contract and releasing her pop and R&B-influenced debut album, So Uncool, in 2007. She has kept expanding her career by writing the motivational nonfiction book I Don’t Belong to You: Quiet the Noise and Find Your Voice, appearing in films and TV shows like the Fox series Scream Queens, and acting in them. Palmer does acting in addition.
