His father, however, first opposed it since he wanted his son to pursue a career in medicine or law by attending college. Moreover, he thought that it’s so hard for young people to become well-known musicians these days music wouldn’t help him make any money. Nevertheless, Kcee decided to disprove his father, and finally, he brought home the first earnings from his concerts. They combined on some more successful singles, which helped them land gigs at concerts and shows. With “Kennis Music,” the then-largest Nigeria record label, Kcee and Presh inked a big record deal. Later, they decided to leave this company and start their venture under the name “KP Records.” The label’s name was soon changed, and “Blingz Records” was used to rebrand it. The two singing pals released their ” No Time ” album under this label.” “Shokori bobo,” the leading single from this album, was released in 2008.
