Criza Taa (born September 3, 2004) is a Filipino actress known for her popular TV shows, reality TV shows, and movies.

Filipino reality star who became known as a contestant on Pinoy Big Brother 8 in 2018.

She was initially rejected from Big Brother, and was sent to Camp Star Hunt before entering the official Big Brother House.

In 2019 she played the role of Roxanne on the ABS-CBN drama series Kadenang Ginto.

In a previous interview, Criza mentioned that she used to join dance contests as a child. Apart from that, Criza also showed off her singing and dancing skills when she first auditioned for ABS-CBN’s Star Hunt. We’ve only seen her perform in ASAP Natin ‘To with fellow castmates since then, so we’re crossing our fingers for a debut single or a solo performance someday!

Parents and family

Criza Taa parents are Mr. and Mrs. Taa.

Criza spent most of her childhood with her late grandmother Wilma. While Criza never met her father, her mother had to stay in Pampanga to care for the rest of her siblings. Because of this, she would only get to see her mother and siblings during special occasions and holidays. Lola Wilma worked hard to single-handedly raise Criza, refurbishing plastic bottles and damaged umbrellas to gain a meager income. Criza usually got bullied at school for her family’s financial situation, but this only made Criza respect her grandmother’s sacrifices even more. 

On December 21, 2018, she posted a series of photos with her mother, wishing her a Happy Birthday.

Her grandmother passed away in late 2021, and she honored her on her mscrizataa Instagram account with a handful of reflective posts.

Much information is not yet known about her family, especially her siblings.
