Taiwo Hassan (born 31 October 1959) also known as Ogogo is a Nigerian film actor, producer, and director of Yoruba origin.

Early Life and Carer

Taiwo Hassan was born on 31 October 1959 in Ilaro, a town in Ogun state. He has a twin brother, and his family has a history of twins. His father and grandfather were both twins.

Ogogo completed primary education at Christ Church School in Ilaro. He attended Gazikia college in Lagos for his secondary education but was unable to finish it due to a financial problem. He then studied at a technical college and worked as an automobile mechanic at the water corporation for about 13 years.

Ogogo began his acting career in 1981, shortly after starting work as a mechanic. In 1994 he left his job at the water corporation to concentrate on acting.

In 2022, Taiwo Hassan was featured in Netflix film Aníkúlápó as Alaafin Ademuyiwa.

Taiwo Hassan famously known as Ogogo, is happily married to two beautiful wives who practice different religions and he loves them equally just like that.

The veteran actor is known to be a devoted Muslim, a trait that shows even in movies he features in. Despite his strong religious belief, Ogogo’s first wife, Ajoke Taiwo, is a Christian while his second and young wife, Taibat Taiwo, is a Muslim.

Despite the differences in the religions, Ogogo has been cohabiting peacefully with the two women in his life and he has been according each of them the utmost respect. He was married to his first wife for over a decade before marrying another woman.
