Early Life and Career
Ray Emodi was born on the 4th of September 1990 in Enugu State, Nigeria. He hails from Anambra State.
Son of Mr Okey Emodi and Mrs Joy Emodi, Ray grew up in a middle-class household. Mainly, his father was a medical doctor while his mother was a politician, who had represented the Anambra North Constituency of Anambra State at the time.
Having both his primary and secondary school education, and eventually, obtaining his First School Leaving Certificate and his West African Examination Certificate certifications, Ray Emodi had his higher education outside of Nigeria.
He moved to California upon obtaining his two basic certifications for his university education. In California, he attended the New York Film Academy where he obtained a degree/certification in Films.
Moreover, he studied and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management and International Strategic Enterprise from the prestigious Nottingham Trent University.

Career
As a child, Ray had a great talent for acting. Mainly, he would casually play a character while he stayed alone with his parents as his other siblings attended boarding schools at the time.
Having “Heaven On My Mind” as his breakthrough movie, Ray Emodi had tried music as a career. “Heaven On My Mind” is a Nollywood movie produced and released in 2018 featuring now-famous actors and actresses like Ini Edo, Mercy Aigbe, Femi Adebayo, to mention but a few.
In the movie, Ray played the role of the lead character. And speaking of his career in the music industry, Ray had released a couple of songs.
