Rebecca Kukiriza (born 20 February 2000) professionally known as Chosen Becky, is a Ugandan singer, musician and songwriter.
Early life and career
Chosen Becky was born on 20 February 2000 in Masala, Uganda.
Becky was born in Masaka the Central Region of Uganda. She attended several educational institutions, including Masaka S.S.S for O-level and A-level at St Anthony SS Kayunga in 2016.
Chosen Becky was discovered by Nick Products CEO Joseph Kilangwa to the world after she impressed him at a singing competition in Masaka, Uganda. Becky started her music career in 2017 coming up with “Byabangi” as her first song.when she was in masaka under her Manager Ronnie and Kasim Pro, she had many songs which made her to be recognised by the stream media.
Controversies
In November 2021, Chosen was deported from South Africa where she was scheduled to perform because she had arrived in the country on a tourist visa and not on a work visa as required.
Parents and family
Chosen Becky parents are Mr and Mrs Kukiriza.
She comes from a Christian family. Her dad is a pastor while her mother is a born again Christian.
She has a sister whose name is Ruth Kukiriza. Much information is not yet known about her other siblings.
Relationships/ Husband and Children
It should be noted that Chosen Becky has another child whom she got when she was still very young.
In her own words, she got her first child from a married man who however later dumped her.
“I got my first kid from a married man, I was too young by then and I got pregnant for the first time I slept with that man I didn’t know about family planning methods” she Confessed during an interview last year.
She however advised young girls to stay in school, finish their studies, get married and then sire children.
Husband
Chosen Becky is currently in a strong relationship with her partner and baby daddy, Dictator Amir. They have a child together.
The couple have been allegedly together since 2019 and in 2020, they were blessed with a son, naming him Heather Mutebi Amir.

Becky and Amir have often been rumored to be at loggerheads as the couple is never shy of publicly displaying their affection and Becky held nothing back as her baby daddy turned 23-years-old today (6 January 2022).
Through her social media pages, Chosen Becky stated that the man of her dreams Amir does not cease to amaze her and that their marriage is a happy one.
“If some one ask me the secret to a happy marriage, my reply is finding a loving man like you. Happy birthday to this man of my dreams who never ceases to amaze me Dictator Amir.”- she posted.
