Wickliffe Otieno Ouma Okumu (22 February 1996) popularly known by his stage name Awicko or Awicko Hundhwe is a Kenyan-born composer, singer, songwriter, performer & entrepreneur.
Early Life and Career
Awicko was born on February 22, 1996 in Kenya.
Awicko attended Achage Primary School in Nyang’inja village and was later transferred to Menno Kids Academy Nairobi Mathare North. He did his KCPE at Salama Primary School in 2009.
He successfully joined CHRISTIAN SEC SCHOOL Siaya County in 2013 and did KCSE.
In 2014, Awicko ventured into various hustles in various fields like teaching, while studying computer packages and driving.
In 2015, Awicko successfully joined KCA University to study Business Management.
Career
Awicko had a lot of interest in music. Loved listening and singing though feared singing in crowds.
Up to 2019, his efforts to join any performing band became unfruitful.
In September 2019, Awicko composed his first track titled HERA DHANDHO…Flavored Love. The reception was so massive and successfully pushed him to even work harder as Fans were demanding more Music.
Very uniquely his song thrilled many due to “TOUCHY LYRICS”.
In 2020, Awicko formed L.O.R Band unfortunately the Corona Virus pandemic didn’t allow more performance.
In 2021, Awicko complied his first ALBUM “THE HERA MAR SKUL UNLEASHED”
The album contained 9 songs such as;

After releasing this Album he has now joined the First Class of Ohangla Rhumba Stars in Luo Nyanza. Has been able to grow more Fanbase esp. Due to his lyrics used in the Songs. Very unique and enjoyable. This has earned him various names like PEKTIPO, THE KING OF LYRICS.
As of 2022, Awicko has also released some hit songs such as Nyamwalo, Ohala, Happy Birthday, and Nyakosoko.
Parents and Family
Awicko’s parents’ names are Peter Okumu (father) and Roselyne Adhiambo (mother). Both of his parents were in his care though he was raised by grandparents in a rural village.
Awicko is the second born in his family. His other siblings are Lovine, Mercy, and his late brother whose name is Oliver.

Awicko is currently single and not in an open relationship for now. Awicko is also not married.
