Amy Okonkwo (born 26 August 1996) is a Nigerian professional basketball player who plays for Dallas Wings and the Nigerian national team. She played college basketball at TCU.

Amy parents are Mr and Mrs Okonkwo, who are of Igbo origin. She is a Christian by religion. We don’t have much information about her siblings.

Nigeria national team career

Amy Okonkwo represented Nigerian D’Tigeress at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in Japan, this was her first major tournament for Nigeria at the highest level.

We didn’t start well, but we fought hard to get back in the game and it was such a difficult thing to do.

On 5th August 2023, Amy Okonkwo won the 2023 Afrowomen Basketball with the Nigerian national team.
